Thought this quote was funny because some women probably feel like their husband has to do this to relax enough to take his time and warm her up. Which may be true for some. I happen to be fortunate enough to be blessed with a man that loves to take his time. Sometimes TOO much time to warm me up. But who can complain. Foreplay is after all a dying art.  

Ok ladies, so what’s up with the foreplay? What is it? Why do we think we need it? and how do we get it?  

Merriam-Webster says of the definition of foreplay:

1 : erotic stimulation preceding sexual intercourse

2 : action or behavior that precedes an event

Why do women need foreplay?

Women need foreplay in order to become sexually lubricated. It is a myth however that women that use alternative methods of lubrication cannot get turned on or that they are not turned on. No, that just means that they want to do just that… Use alternative means. Plus, there are so many cool lubricants out there why not use them. and yet i dygress…

Women need foreplay because women want to feel wanted. There is nothing better to me than when my huspand walks in to the room and attacks my neck with kisses. When he caresses softly down my back. When a man takes his time to touch a woman instead of going in for the kill the woman is imagining what he is thinking. When he takes his time to appreciate the art form that she is: every curve, turn, slope then all the hard work of her thinking  about fat she is and how dead her skin looks and how white her teeth are throughout week does not go in vain. 

“He notices” she thinks, “He notices me, he understands me, he knows me. He sees how hard I try to look good for him. He smells that new purfume I bought today. He is entranced by me…ummmm I should give him more of me!”

So, how do we get more foreplay?

Give more foreplay, duh.Most men are attracted by visual stimuli. Wear something that makes you feel sexy. Chances are if it makes you feel sexy it will also be sexy to him. Kisses on the neck and chest. Hand jobs work well to loosen the tension. Take your mouth and lightly brush down his back. Pulsating hot breath and making him steamy. Don’t get him too excited because he will want to jump into penetration. Be coy, keep him wanting you by stopping right before he starts to move around. Go to a private place. Somewhere that he feels comfortable being himself. If you try to get your hump on at the nearest McDonalds, don’t get mad if he doesn’t rub your feet first. Do the leg work, make it simple for him to just slide in the room and get down to business. You get the flowers, you light the candles, get the bath running. Set the stage and then sit and become the star. I guarantee that he will be more inclined to participate if you take out all the prelminary drama.
