Victoria’s Secret just released their “What is Sexy” campaign for 2008 this is the 3rd year in a row that they will announce the ultra list of what they think is sexy. America’s Sexiest Brand is the authority on what is sexy. They are proving it with this list that will set the bar on all subjects from the sexiest Mom and Dad to the sexiest athlete.

There is even a VIP event to announce the list formally in Scottsdale, AZ. To cap it off they will team up with E! to air a “Victoria’s Secret What is Sexy: 2008″ telecast of the lists recipients.

Well, all I can say is, I don’t remember my phone ringing to tell me about this list…. I guess I had my ringer turned off again. Without further adew, here is the Victoria’s Secret What is Sexy: 2008 list.

Now, I will start this post off by saying, I am not pregnant nor have I ever been pregnant. I have had the pleasure of being very close with a few pregnant women in my life. I have seen child birth and I have changed diapers and baby-sat so I think I have a bit of authority on the subject. Ladies, you can be pregnant and still look and feel sexy. From my experience around women with child, there has been exposure to some pretty heavy complaining.

“I feel too fat.”

“My ankles are swollen.”

“I haven’t had a pedicure or manicure.”

“I just FEEL like I look like a slob.”

 With all these horrible affirmations, I would think you would feel pretty un-sexy.

Let’s get things straight. You are creating a LIFE. You are taking a lump of goo and a egg the size of a sand granule and baking a person from scratch. Without any magic dust or special potion (well, depending on the conception party there may have been special potion) This is a big deal. If that is not sexy, I don’t know what is. I think you are the beautiful ladies you were before but with more hormones. Which means stronger sex drives and bigger boobs. i.e. Win Win

When not feeling sexy, don’t turn to drugs, turn to green tea.

After a long day’s work not many people feel sexy or feel like getting sexy. From a lack of mood or a lack of time, no matter what the reason there is always a solution.

1. Take a 15 minute nap

It has been said time and time again that any longer than a 15 – 20 minute nap will make you more tired. It can also cause headaches. Not to mention that you might over sleep your sexy session.

2. Eat dinner

A nice meal (while eating right, nothing high in fat or carbs) will fuel your gas tank and give you some drive to enjoy your evening.

3. Drink 1/2 a cup of green tea

In addition to it’s anti-oxidant and weight loss effects, green tea is said to contain caffeine. If you drink more than 1/2 a cup, it might get you wired. Try a little bit to give you a happy buzz to keep you going.

4. Put on some romantic music

Turn off American Idol and/or Cold Case and listen to some jazz. Whatever your favorite tune may be, it will get you paying more attention to eachother than who won The Biggest Loser.

5. Clear the area.

If you have children, put them to bed an hour early. They can’t tell time yet, they won’t know. Even if they do, your the boss.

6. Turn off the phone.

There is nothing worse than having your mother in law call when your trying to get your freak on. (Disclaimer : I love my mother in law)

7. Take showers right after dinner.

A clean relaxed and naked body can be “hard” to resist

8. Get your self ready for the next day.

Set out the suit you are going to wear the next day while the food cooks. Tell him to clean out the car while you put the baby to sleep. Whatever your routines are for the following morning do them BEFORE. This will relax your minds from thinking about the day to come and only thinking about eachother.

9. Look pretty.

Ladies: I know we have to wrap our hair, put on the Crest whitestrips and the fuzzy slippers. But if you have a hair wrap on, keep your earrings and make up done. If you have to do the Crest whitestrips, do them in the morning this time. The trick is to make your self feel good. Not to look good for your mate. Remember if you feel like you look sexy, so will anyone else.

Men: We know you like the old football jersey and last-forever-underwear. If you want to get some, leave them in the closet for one night. Put on some nice boxer briefs or full pajamas. Comb your hair, brush your teeth and put some aftershave on that 5 o’clock shadow. If you build it, she will come.

10. If all else fails, just spend time together

It’s not all about sex. If you are both just too beat to hit the sheets, watch a movie together or play a board game. If you get the main points down and make it a habit who knows what tomorrow will bring.
